About me

Welcome to my blog! My name is Christopher, but my nickname is Nille. I’m a full-stack developer with a passion for learning and exploring new areas within technology. I’ve always been inspired by people who manage to combine knowledge from different areas to create something creative and amazing. Hopefully, I’ll be able to do that someday!

Job 🧑🏻‍💻 Since 2014, I’ve freelanced for small projects on and off.

But since graduating in 2018, I’ve been working in IT development full-time since 2019. I started my career at the consulting firm Netlight but have since moved between various startups in the Stockholm area, with a focus on food tech and edtech. These two areas have interested me for a long time, and I hope to continue my career within them.

Volunteering ⭐️ During my time studying in Lund, I became interested in

volunteering and was involved in various student organizations, including Kristianstad Nation, the Technology Student Association, and the Lund Carnival. These experiences taught me valuable skills in working with people, problem-solving, and not being afraid to try new things.

Interests

I like to understand how things work, and therefore tend to end up in the DIY track and constantly have small projects. Therefore, I haven’t bought clothes since 2018 but sew my own as far as it’s reasonable. Check out synille.se if you want to see my clothing projects.

I’ve been a big fan of Advent of Code and been competing since 2018. I once got 13 global points, but nowadays I’m not even near 😅

I try to read a lot of books, my goal is to read 50 books per year. Some favorites include:

In my personal life, I have followed my passion for sewing, which has given me a unique perspective on technology and problem-solving. I like to know how things work, and I don’t want to buy things I don’t understand or can’t repair. Therefore, I learned to sew by observing clothes I had at home.

On the food front, I have converted to veganism 🌱 in recent years. Since the fall of 2022, I have been experimenting with fasting, which seems to work well for me. But I’m new, so if you have tips or reading to share, please send them my way!

This site

On this blog, I will share my thoughts on a variety of topics, including programming, sewing, and lessons I have learned from my experiences. The goal is mainly for me to organize my thoughts, but hopefully, you will also find the texts useful.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you like my blog!
